# Change a Entity's workflow

> A workflow allows you to change the combination of checks that are performed on a entity.

A workflow allows you to change the combination of checks that are performed on a customer at any given time in the customer's lifecycle.

**To change the ‘workflow’ via the Portal.**

1. Open the entity profile.
2. Select **Edit profile** from the profile menu.

3. In the **Edit entity details** page, select the preferred workflow from the **Workflow** dropdown menu.

4. Select **Save & Verify** to run the new workflow.
