SmartUI

Service Core

  1. Updates to core to improve (better error handling and richer descriptions) user experience when running our biometrics services :

    • Return a Document Report in all cases when we get a selfie document, even if there is no image we can use. This will allow the users to overide the result.
    • Improved reporting in the audit trail to indicate when these errors occur.
    • Improved reporting in the veripal audit trail to indicate what the match score was if it failed.
    • Fixed some bugs that meant a failed Document Report had no actual status, which meant that it couldn’t be overridden
    • Fixed a bug that meant that we didn’t always get the latest photo when we retried
    • More logging to aid in debugging issues.
    • Added download retry (3 attempts) when we can’t retrieve the videos/photos - to help reduce the number of missing selfies/doc scans.
    • Added audit trail logs to indicate report initiation and report retrieval (where possible)
    • Set the report doc country to match either what the OCR process returns, or the matching doc has. If all else fails, use AUS.

  2. Update to RAPID ID connector that was impacting failover logic

Portal

  1. Fixed issue where vendor/connector checked (and in some instances information returned) wasn’t displaying within the Audit Tab
  2. Biometrics - Better error handling and richer descriptions where a user has failed biometrics checks (e.g. sideways photos or poor lighting)
  3. Fixed issue where Passport OCR results weren’t displaying correctly in portal for some customers
  4. Fixed issue where Manual KYC Still considers prior IDV results. This now considers latest results.
  5. Fixed issue where OCR wasn’t capturing first and last names correct in Singapore
  6. Bug fix to address issue where clear button wasn’t working in google address look up
  7. Bug fix in audit trail where ‘a’ was displaying as ‘o’
  8. Updated links to recipes documentation to reference our new wiki space
  9. Added a new check type ” Check Source Validation” to Overview tab

Smart UI

  1. SmartUI 3-zipmex4

    1. change to make postcode mandatory (labelled with an * )
    2. fixed address error for Singapore non citizens

  2. Better event and error logging for OCR and Biometrics steps to aid in debugging issues

  3. Configuration change to fix out of focus camera issue impacting android users
